We're upfront.
We're primarily a web design firm, but also have over a dozen years of print design experience.
Our tech expertise focuses on the front-end, things like XHTML, Flash, CMSs like Drupal and MovableType and integrating the major CRMs for advocacy and political campaigns like Salsa and BlueStateDigital.
We work closely with Salsa Labs and highly recommend their toolset but have also worked extensively with BSD, NGP, Convio and ActBlue.
We charge on a flat fee per project basis but can work on an hourly or day-rate basis on small projects and support.

Politics and activism are all we do. We help major campaigns and organizations attain real results online through community building, advocacy, and online action.
We're committed to progressive causes and Democratic candidates. As such, we keep overhead low and work internally and with our partners to improve the tools available to the left. Ask us about some of the tools we're working on for the future.
We've been involved in the development and even designed some of the interfaces of the tools of ActBlue, BlueStateDigital, and SalsaLabs. No firm knows the tools you'll use better than Liberal Art.
We design every project from scratch to your specific region, audiences, and messaging. We'll make sure your project doesn't blend in with the crowd or undermine your goals by screaming "me too."
Most of our clients are technology and communications consultants without in-house creative. We offer them several advantages: discounted fees and outside costs are passed through with no markup.
